Massey announces retirement from ETMC, Henderson to fill position

East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare System, headquartered in Tyler, has announced the retirement of Jerry Massey, senior vice president of affiliate operations, and the promotion of Perry Henderson.
In addition, two do the health system’s affiliate hospital administrators – J. Warren Robicheaux and Jorge Leal – have advanced into new roles.
Jerry Massey joined the ETMC System in Nov. 1988, first serving as administrator of East Texas Medical Center Pittsburg. In March 1990 he was promoted to senior vice president of affiliate operations, with responsibility for 12 ETMC hospitals located throughout East Texas, as well as two ambulatory care centers and a host of rural health clinics.
A graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in economics, Mr. Massey received a master’s degree in public administration from Gold Gate University in San Francisco.
