Shannon Davis of the Winnsboro Livestock Commission, 903-365-2201, reported a total of 866 head of cattle moved through the auction on
Nov. 29, at the following prices:
•Steers, under 300 pounds, $1.55-$2.75 a pound; 300-400 pounds, $1.45-$2.25 a pound; 400-500 pounds, $1.35-$2.05 a pound; over 500 pounds, $1.20-$1.85 a pound.
•Heifers, under 300 pounds, $1.40-$2.65 a pound; 300-400 pounds, $1.35-$2.05  a pound; 400-500 pounds, $1.25-$1.90 a pound; over 500 pounds, $1.15-$1.70 a pound.
•Packer cows, $.60 - $.9000 cents a pound.
•Packer bulls, $.85 - $1.01 cents a pound.
•Cows and heifers, $1150 - $2175 a head.
•Cow/Calf Pairs, $1550-$2550 a head.
• Baby calves, $15 - $285 a head.
