Livestock report

Shannon Davis of the Winnsboro Livestock Commission, 903-365-2201, reported a total of 1007 head of cattle moved through the auction on
Nov. 15, at the following prices:
•Steers, under 300 pounds, $1.60-$2.85 a pound; 300-400 pounds, $1.50-$2.40 a pound; 400-500 pounds, $1.35-$2.15 a pound; over 500 pounds, $1.20-$1.80 a pound.
•Heifers, under 300 pounds, $1.45-$2.50 a pound; 300-400 pounds, $1.35-$2.05  a pound; 400-500 pounds, $1.25-$1.85 a pound; over 500 pounds, $1.10-$1.70 a pound.
•Packer cows, $55.00 - $89.00 cents a pound.
•Packer bulls, $80.00 - $97.50 cents a pound.
•Cows and heifers, $900 - $1,750 a head
•Cow/Calf Pairs, $1050-$1850 a head.
• Baby calves, $20 - $325 a head.
