Beer and amendments pass

The votes for the legal sale of Beer and Wine for off-premises consumption within the city limits of the city of Pittsburg were canvased and passed Nov. 13. At 12:00 p.m. the City council of Pittsburg met and were all in favor for the canvassing of the votes in the recent special election that took place on Nov. 5. Businesses around the city will know have the opportunity to serve beer and wine within their stores after meeting the requirements.
Along with the beer and wine, the ammendments that were voted on Nov. 5 were also canvased with no one opposing.
Nov. 14 at 8:30 a.m. the Nov. 2013 Constitutuinal Ammendments that passed in the recent election were looked over within the Commissioners Court meeting. With none opposed, the Commissioners Court canvased the votes and adjourned the meeting.
