Fire investigation continues

Pittsburg Police officers responded to the 300 block of North Texas  Street in reference to a residential fire on Saturday, Oct. 26, at approximately 11:42 p.m. After the fire was controlled, an arson investigator was called to assist the Pittsburg Fire Department with the cause and origin investigation. Based on this investigation, the fire was believed to be suspicious and a criminal investigation was initiated and is ongoing.
Citizens with information on this fire can call the Texas Arson Hotline at 1-877-4FIRE. If the information leads to the arrest of the person(s) responsible, the caller may be eligible for a reward up to $1000.
