Pittsburg city council, city manager agree on contract

The city council approved a contract with newly-appointed City Manager Clint Hardeman on July 23.
Mr. Hardeman’s beginning salary, effective Aug. 1, will be $72,000 with a performance review in six months. If the performance evaluation  is positive, he will receive a 5 percent raise in salary. Mr. Hardeman will also receive an initial auto allowance of $600 per month and a cell phone allowance of $50 per month.
