Eagle Scout Court of Honor ceremony this Saturday

After years of reaching for the pinnacle in Scouting, two young men from Boy Scout Troop 210 have soared to Eagle status.
The two young men, Charles Walker and Kristopher Dugosh, will be honored on March 2, when they officially receive their Eagle Scout badges. The Eagle Scout Court of Honor Ceremony will be held at First United Methodist Church beginning at 7 p.m.
At a minimum, a Scout must earn 21 merit badges, serve in leadership roles within their troop, perform service hours and master a multitude of Scout skills along the way.  Statistically, less than four boys out of 100 who join Boy Scouts will achieve the rank of Eagle Scout.
Charles and Kristopher have each demonstrated their leadership abilities by conducting individual Leadership Service Projects that benefit their community. Both of these boys put many hours into planning, raising funds, getting volunteers and writing up the finished projects.  Charles’ project was building and painting shelves for God’s Closet. Kristopher’s project was placing veterans’ markers at local cemeteries for Erman Smith Funeral Home.
Best friends Charles and Kristopher, both 16, have been in Scouts together since they were 8, and together they will become Eagle Scouts at this joint Court of Honor. Anyone who would like to congratulate these young men is invited to attend.
